'Ahimsa' in Mumbai

AR Rahman and vocalists Ria, Raheema and Khatija joined the band onstage in Mumbai tonight for a beautiful debut live performance of 'Ahimsa'.

In another surprise at the DY Patil Stadium, Noel Gallagher, whose High Flying Birds have joined U2 on so many of the Joshua Tree dates in 2017 and 2019, was back on stage for 'Desire'.

And everyone joined the band on stage for One, the final song on the final night of a tour that opened up in Vancouver in May 2017 and, nearly seventy stadiums later, a fitting way to close a remarkable journey.

'We come to India as pilgrims,' Bono had explained early in the show. 'Like so many over centuries… we come in search of the great soul Gandhi…. We are students… you are our teachers…'.

The spirit of Gandhi, Martin Luther King and John Lennon was in the house, as 'Give Peace A Chance' emerged from a spine-tingling version of 'Bad'.

The other day we were at the house of Mahatma Gandhi… the latest pilgrims on that journey
Martin Luther King came and slept there. John and Yoko came to this city as students of peaceful protest, taught us this prayer: All we are saying is give peace a chance…

So let's sing it loud
All we are saying is give peace a chance.
In every corner of this great country and around the world …sing it with us… India taught us this song…

in merito allo snippet Give Peace a Chance, pensavo meglio per partecipazione
Shine Like Stars un pochettino 'pasticciata', ma presente
Bullet stratosferica, Edge perfetto! parte finale migliore del Tour, da 50.10
Running suonata in modo eccellente ma sento poca partecipazione. Solo sul finale gli indiani si riscattano.
Al solito splendida In God’s Country, fosse un pelo più veloce... sarebbe eccezionale

per me assolutamente no...Get On Your Boots (la peggior canzone degli U2) rimane la cosa piu brutta degli u2 per me ...e lo rimarrà sempre...sta canzone è una canzoncina inutile, ma secondo meno irritante di Get On Your Boots (la peggior canzone degli U2), platealmente costruita per questo show e per incentivare le vendite in quella parte di mondo e visto il natale di conseguenza anche nel resto del mondo visto che si tratta sempre di un brano u2 che gira per le radio e richiamano la band e le vendite....aspetto con ansia dvd di berlino e il futuro dvd di joshua..sta canzoncina presto ce la saremo dimenticata (e pure loro spero)...

Siete troppo cattivi con Get On Your Boots (la peggior canzone degli U2), secondo me c'è di peggio (Crazy, Stand up, California, Volcano, This is where, Showman).
