4. This is Las Vegas. Hotels, concierges, and various fixers all over the city need tickets so they can comp the whales. The number of those tickets would have been carved out right off the top.
5. This is The Sphere’s first engagement, it’s coming out party. It will attract the Danny Ocean crowd and the see-and-be-seers.
6. In conclusion, if there is space for 18,000 people, I’d be shocked if there was 10,000 tickets available to the punters, super punters and super-duper punters per show. That means 100,000-ish tickets were never, ever going on sale.

At the heart of all this is a supply-and-demand issue. That the shows would sell out was a foregone conclusion. The

question is how that supply was managed in the first place.

ovvio che no, ma potrebbero essersi accorti di vedere spesso le solite facce .e questo potrebbe aver inciso insieme ad altri fattori

il principale fattore sono la montagna di soldi che gli hanno offerto per fare questa cosa a Vegas.

 

gli altri fattori sono: la volontà di fare qualcosa di diverso dalla solita routine album-tour, la possibilità di essere i primi a suonare in questa arena pazzesca (pensata per gli spettacoli e non per lo sport), la pandemia (che ha bloccato tutto per un paio di anni, o quasi, e reso molto più complicato e costoso andare in tour), e i problemi alla schiena di Larry (che hanno messo in stand by un nuovo album e tour che stavano pianificando)

 

a parte ciò, è da sempre che esistono le residencies a Vegas...guadagni pazzeschi, e molti meno costi, sbattimenti, viaggi, fatica, ecc...

 

in era moderna, la prima a (ri)sdoganare la residency Vegas fu Celine Dion, dopodichè lo hanno fatto moltissimi super big

esatto, come postato, credo che una buona riflessione non perda valore col tempo, valga anzi anche dopo diverse settimane, poi non avevo letto nulla di simile sul forum (magari me lo sono perso, eh!) si parla comunque di un milione di dollari a serata!!!!!!

non capisco cosa scrivi, boh

1) U2songs , sito normalmente affidabile e ripreso da molti altri.
2) credo di essere comprensibile e non credevo infatti di dover spiegare che, come osservato, i costi per gestire un tour in diverse citta´con ripetute necessita´ di logistica + montaggi/smontaggi siano ben diversi di una serie di show residenziali.
Interessante sarebbe vedere il dato al netto dei costi, quello dei soli incassi lascia il tempo che trova, non si tratta di net revenue.
