In rete ho trovato una recensione di quel concerto che riposto perché affascinante:
I guess I was part of history as one night after work a friend and I decided to go to the village to check out some live music. He mentioned that an Irish band was playing at the Ritz. I asked who they were and he said \" You Too\". I started to laugh, and said that I thought they sounded like a band on Sesame Street. When we got to the Ritz. We saw the name was spelled \"U2\", and my interest was piqued. Now granted that it is now a long time ago, but I remember walking onto the floor of the club, and there was hardly anyone there. My friend thought we should leave, but having already paid, I thought we should at least stay for a bit.I have been to my share of shows, but I will never forget when they took the stage. Maybe there were 100 people there, but not more than 150. They looked really cool and even younger than us at 23. They came out of the gate running. Bono had so much energy, and he was jumping around, while the Edge and Larry took turns coming forward and moving back. We stood right in front, which was not that hard to do. Being an amateur musician, I noticed the chords were very basic, yet couldn\'t believe how much power and variety each song had. Of course, I became forever hooked on the band after they played I will follow. I realized I had heard the song on the radio before, but didn\'t know who it was. After the set ended, the crowd was going wild, and it seemed like the Ritz was packed, but it wasn\'t. I remember saying to my friend that this band was going to last. I wish I could add that we talked to the band, or hung out with them afterwards having a beer, but none of that happened. Maybe we could have as they seemed to have a tiny entourage. After they became famous, I always thought I could have been friends with the band or something lame like that, but seeing them for their first gig in the US is good enough!

Sì sì.
Al Ritz hanno tenuto 5 concerti completi.
Schipani sostiene di aver registrato la data di San Patrizio 1982, ma in realtà è quella della sera dopo.
